Avis Howell, medical receptionist and front office specialist, was born in Pasadena, CA. She has been involved in the health care field for 11 years, and has worked with Dr. Drake since 1996. Before coming to Coastal Heart she was a telephone operator at Memorial Health. She was trained in medical coding and terminology. One of the things she values most is being a team player. When she has some spare time, she enjoys reading, aerobics, and, of course, spending time with her family.
