Joy Ellis, R.D.C.S., cardiac sonographer, was born in Indianapolis, IN. She has been involved in the health care field for 19 years, and has worked with Dr. Drake since 1995. Before coming to Coastal Heart, she was an echocardiographer at a local hospital. She is also trained in Respiratory Therapy and was certified in Pulmonary Diagnostics before turning her attention to cardiac ultrasound. She lives in Thunderbolt, GA with her husband and three children, and especially enjoys family boating excursions.
